Benefits of Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL)

Compact Fluorescent Lamps are popularly known as an energy saving lights. As a matter of fact most homes nowadays are using and prefer compact fluorescent lamps. Aside from the fact that some governments have already passed laws to phase out the incandescent light bulbs, Compact fluorescent lamps are environment friendly. It not only consumes less energy but provide brighter lights than the incandescent bulbs.
Ever since global warming have became an issue and people are more cautious about its effect on the environment, Compact fluorescent lamps is just one of the best inventions that could at least reduce our energy consumption in our homes, school and office.
As have been shown and promoted on some television programs or discussed in schools, if we reduce our energy consumption we are also reducing the coal consumption in power plants. By just simply changing our incandescent lamps to compact fluorescent lamps, we are at the least minimizing the carbon dioxide emitted into the air. By doing this simple switch we are already helping our planet.
